Today’s card is a 4″ x 4″ square card. You can make an envelope to fit this card perfectly with the Envelope Punch Board or you can use the regular medium envelopes from Stampin’ Up!. I will be sending this out in a regular envelope. While the square envelope would fit the card better, it also costs a little more to send through the mail. I tend to make the envelope when I will be hand delivering (not always, but for the most part) and mail using a standard envelope.
I used Daffodil Delight cardstock to cut out the Sunburst Thinlit Die. I applied Snail Adhesive to the back of the Sunburst and attached it to the Pool Party cardstock. I trimmed off the excess with my Paper Snips.
Note: The Sunburst Thinlits Dies are available in a bundle with the Sunburst Sayings Stamp Set. I did not use the stamp set on this card, but I did purchase them in the bundle and saved 15% compared to buying them separately.
The sentiment comes from Enjoy the Little Things Stamp Set. This stamp set coordinates with a project kit that is sold separately.
The edges of the scallop circle were sponged with Pool Party to add more dimension. I really like how this helped it to take the shape and feel of a cloud.
To finish it off, I popped up the cloud using Dimensionals.
