I absolutely LOVE the Healing Hugs Stamp Set!!! It is so pretty and can be used for so much more than just get well cards. It is a DistINKtive stamp set from Stampin’ Up! These stamps create different opacities in a single stamped image for realistic depth and intensity. Meaning these stamps look awesome and you only have to use one stamp to get this look!! The trick to these stamps is they work best with ink pads that are not too juicy.
I fell in love with the Healing Hugs Stamp Set & Puzzle Pieces Thinlits as soon as I saw the catalog. I knew I had to create something with these two for a swap I recently participated in. I lightly spritzed the Blushing Bride Cardstock with water before running it through the Tufted Dynamic Embossing Folder. Whenever you are using a dynamic embossing folder lightly spritz with water beforehand to help break up some of the fibers to get a deeper impression on the cardstock.
I popped all of the puzzle pieces up with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals, except for the three pieces I wanted to stick up higher. I cut small pieces off the Foam Adhesive Strips to make the three pieces stand up higher than the rest.
