Hip Hip Hooray for another birthday card!! 🙂 The die cut is from the Party with Cake Pop-Up Dies. It is designed to score on the 2 sides so it can be a pop-up in the inside of a card. For today’s card, I cut it out on a scrap piece of Mint Macaron cardstock and used my Paper Snips to cut out the 2 sides.
I adhered the die cut down and then added It’s My Party Designer Washi Tape as an accent.
TIP: In my area, the washi tape tends to curl up at the edges. I apply Snail Adhesive first, then put the washi tape over the top. This keeps it completely down when I am not able to wrap the ends around to the backside of cardstock.
I wanted to be able to use the Honeycomb Embellishments on a card without having to smash them down….solution: put them in the inside of a card!! This idea hit me one night before bed and I couldn’t wait to try it out.
