Garden In Bloom

By | October 6, 2015

I made a card for a friend that is going through a difficult time right now.

I just love the Garden In Bloom stamp set.  I used it to create my own designer paper for this card. 🙂

I used Blushing Bride, Wisteria Wonder, Mint Macaron, and Old Olive ink pads to create my background paper.  I stamped off before stamping onto the cardstock with the inside image.  The outline image was then stamped in the same color.

I used a 3-1/2″ x 6″ piece of Shimmery White cardstock for the all the white cardstock.  It adds an extra sparkle to the card.

The Mint Macaron card base is 6-1/2″ x 8″ scored at 4″.

The background and tags were popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Since this is a larger card, I of course needed to make an envelope 🙂  I was happy to use my Envelope Punch Board with Mint Macaron from the 2015-2017 In Color Envelope Paper.

Here is a quick video on using the Envelope Punch Board.

I stamped the sentiment “Because that’s just what you are!”, in the inside in Wisteria Wonder.  I added two butterflies to the inside in Mint Macaron.
