Just Ripe for MOJO414

By | September 14, 2015

Today, I participated in a sketch challenge over at Mojo Monday.  I hadn’t gotten a chance to look at the sketch until today, but I am glad I had some time to play along.

I just LOVED the sketch for the MOJO414 challenge.  I had been wanting to use the Market Fresh stamp set again and knew it would be perfect with this sketch.

I chose two of the designs from the Farmers Market Designer Series Paper that would compliment the strawberries.

Here are the dimensions for all the cardstock I used:

4-1/4″ x 11″ base scored at 5-1/2″
4″ x 5-1/4″
3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″ with corners rounded
3″ x 4-1/4″ with corners rounded
2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ watercolor paper

I watercolored the strawberries using an Aqua Painter with Real Red, Old Olive, and So Saffron ink pads.  The So Saffron was to add just a touch of color to the banner without drawing attention away from the berries.

I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the panel to the pears.  Since I used the Old Olive Baker’s Twine, I needed to pop up the next panel so the image wouldn’t be crooked.

To finish it off, I chose the Gold Metallic Foil Doily for a splash of shine and color that would compliment the colors.
