Sweetbriar Rose Workshop

By | June 7, 2015

Today I wanted to share with you a few samples from my Stampin’ Up! workshop on Friday.  My husband even wanted to try making a card.  The one on the right is his first card he ever tried to make. 🙂

The cards are made using the new 2015-2017 In Colors.  I am just in love with the new colors: Cucumber Crush, Delightful Dijon, Mint Macaron, Tip Top Taupe, and Watermelon Wonder.  I don’t know that I can pick my favorite one out of the group yet, I just love them all.

The Sweetbriar Rose stamp was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto Watercolor Paper.  Then using the In Color ink pads and Blender Pens, we created the watercolor look.  It is such a easy technique to use and I love how it is so controlled that even a beginner stamper can easily create a wonderful look.

The butterfly is from the Butterfly Basics stamp set.  It was stamped in Delightful Dijon and then punched out with the Bitty Butterfly Punch.
