A Wedding Celebration

I love the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits.  They can be used to make, treat bags, cards, or for accents with the additional dies it comes with.  It comes with 12 dies for use with the Big Shot!! 🙂  To make these even more special, you can save $10 this week in the weekly deals but hurry the sale ends June 29th.

Here is one of the cards I made for my sister’s wedding.  I used up some of the retired Something Borrowed Designer Series Paper.  The treat bag served as the “envelope” of the card with a piece of Whisper White cardstock inside.

I decorated it using some of the dies that came with the thinlits.  I cut the banner in Whisper White and the “for you” in Sahara Sand.  I then added the 2 flowers using the flower punch from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack with 2 middle sized pearls.

For the inside, I cut out the bow from the thinlits.  I punched out 2 holes close together with the 1/8″ punch for the ribbon to go through.  I then put 6 inches of Whisper White Satin Ribbon through and stapled it to the top.  This created an easy “pull tab” for the card.
I then stamped the wedding cake from the retired stamp set, Your Perfect Day, in Sahara Sand.
(Sorry the lighting wasn’t the best in this next photo.)

This is perfect to write a quick note for the bride and groom or to be given as a gift certificate.
