The theme challenge over at the Global Design Project couldn’t have come at a better time. #GDP003 has the theme of baby.
A friend of mine just had her first baby girl this week. Perfect timing.
I adhered a layer of Very Vanilla cardstock (4″ x 5-1/4″) onto the Pink Pirouette using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped congratulations onto a piece of Gold Fancy Foil Designer Vellum (4″ x 5-1/4″). It was then adhered to the Very Vanilla using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen. I put a small amount of glue behind the hearts so the adhesive would not show through the vellum.
The onesie was stamped onto a piece of Pink Pirouette from the Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack. Next, I stamped the made with love into the middle.
I cut out the onesie using the Baby’s First Framelits Dies and my Big Shot. The Something for Baby stamp set is available in a bundle with the framelits. Something for Baby was not used on this card, but it is always nice to look at the bundles. When you purchase the bundles you save 15% compared to buying the items separately.
To create a subtle highlight, I went over the seams and words on the onesie with the Blushing Bride Stampin’ Write Marker.
I finished off the card, by popping up the onesie with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
