I love the design for the Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge! Such a fun design to work with.
For PPA 264, I created a birthday card for my brother-in-law using a new stamp set (yay a sneak peek) from the Holiday Catalog that begins on Sept 1st. One of the perks of being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator is we get to play with the new items early!!
I stamped the antlers, from Wonderland, in Crumb Cake onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock. Then, I cut the piece into strips. I trimmed the 2 on the ends so they would be shorter. I matted the strips with Cajun Craze cardstock and adhered them down to the Crumb Cake card.
The sentiment is from the Tin of Cards stamp set. There is a fun kit that coordinates with the stamp set, but it is not necessary in order to get the stamp set. I used the Tags & Labels Framelits with my Big shot to create the layered look with Happy Birthday. I adhered this to the front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To finish it off, I layered the inside and then stamped another antler in the corner.
What a simple and easy birthday card for my brother-in-law, an avid hunter.

You did it….you made those antlers work amazingly! I keep looking at this stamp set trying to think what I can do but you rocked it! Thanks for playing in the sketch challenge this week!
Thanks!! I was unsure about this stamp at first, but I have used it the most from the Wonderland stamp set so far. I am looking forward to using it more and the rest of the stamp set.
What a great masculine birthday card using a winter stamp set! I love how you stamped your panels with the antlers. Thanks so much for joining us at the PPA this week!
Thank you. I knew these antlers would be perfect for my brother-in-law.
