Today, I am sharing a card I made for the Pals Paper Arts color challenge. The challenge is open until Tuesday at noon. Feel free to play along and share what wonderful project you think up.
I made a quick and easy card for PPA 259.
I started with a piece from the Everyday Chic Designer Series Paper. These DSP are black and white. I wanted to add a bit of color to it, so I used my Stampin’ Spritzer with some water and a few drops of ink refill. I used Pacific Point and Real Red ink refills on this card. This added a splash of color to the background.
I was then able to quickly cut out the 2 banners using the Banners Framelits Dies and my Big Shot. The “hello” is from the Hello You Thinlits. The Big Shot makes cutting these items out such a breeze. If you don’t already have one, I highly recommend investing in one for all your future projects.
The card was finished off by stapling the banners to the card and applying 3 Pacific Point candy dots to the bottom corner.
